<p>As a member of a cross functional regional leadership team the Field HOPE Scientist will participate in account planning, prioritize &amp; execute tactics that proactively communicate the value of current and future Endo products to priority health care providers and to select payors (as defined in FDAMA section 114). The HOPE Scientist will profile managed market accounts and identify opportunities for customer value creation though the dissemination of clinical &amp; health economic information and the identification of health outcomes and pharmacoeconomic research opportunities. The HOPE Scientist will prioritize &amp; customize their activities to leverage those opportunities within approved regulations. The scientist will also provide strategic direction and feedback to their cross functional regional leadership team and to relevant HOST teams to fine-tune the value proposition of Endo product portfolio to meet customers’ needs. Specific activities may include educating payors about Endo’s portfolio of products and pipeline, further educating payors by facilitating interactions with investigators and KOLs, providing actionable feedback to HOST teams, supporting HOST team in preparation of FDAMA section 114 detailing tools for payors, presenting to payors and health care providers of key accounts, obtaining data for local customization of presentations and of economic models, customization and presentation of economic models, identification of research opportunities that differentiate Endo products and facilitation of such research with local investigators.  </p>
<p>To qualify for this role you will possess:</p>
<p>·         Pharm.D, PhD, MD or a clinical degree relevant to the position responsibilities</p>
<p>·         3-5 years experience years in pharmaceuticals, clinical or academic research and AT LEAST 2 years experience as a field based Medical Liaison</p>

<p>The <strong>Clinical Affairs Manager (CAM)</strong> is responsible for developing and managing scientific, medically and clinically-appropriate working relationships with therapeutic experts, clinical investigators, professional societies and key institutions/centers of excellence within the fields of urology, endocrinology and uro-oncology.  The CAM will possess focused expertise which enables him/her to be a subject matter expert on specific scientific/clinical issues, develop strategy, lead team initiatives and execute plans to advance the business objectives. The CAM will work with the Scientific Affairs Leadership Team to mentor new team members and to advance the Scientific Affairs Team’s competencies in the CAM’s area of subject matter expertise.</p>
<p>Responsibilities:   identification and development of scientific, medical and clinically-appropriate working relationships with national  and regional therapeutic experts within the urology, endocrinology and uro-oncology fields;  identification of potential scientific and clinical investigators and investigator-initiated research protocols; interaction with clinical investigators and research staff; development of effective educational alliances with regional professional societies and patient advocacy organizations;  conduct of scientific, medical and clinically-appropriate presentations to healthcare providers, scientific and clinical agencies, government bodies and institutions, and third party advocacy groups; facilitation of scientifically-balanced regional medical education initiatives;  serving as a technical resource for Endo’s external customers and internal cross-functional teams including Medical, Business Development, Marketing and Sales</p>

<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrate      extensive knowledge of hemostatic products and appropriate use, clinical      trial data, and emerging therapies.</li>
<li>Demonstrate      the ability to present clinical and scientific data consistent with      corporate guidance and relevant laws and regulations to healthcare      provider groups and individuals utilizing approved content.</li>
<li>Provide      accurate, balanced, and relevant scientific information and educational      support to healthcare providers in response to their specific unsolicited      requests for medical or scientific information.</li>
<li>Identify      and maintain relationships with national and regional KOLs, including      engaging in rigorous and relevant scientific interchange to enhance the      mutual understanding of scientific and clinical information and identify      potential areas for future research.</li>
<li>Assist      in identification of speakers for company controlled programs, including      appropriate training pertaining to relevant clinical and scientific      content.</li>
<li>Augment      training of surgical sales managers through provision of scientific      education when requested consistent with corporate guidance and relevant      laws and regulations.</li>

<p><strong> </strong></p>
<p>Key success factors include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree      in scientific field is required (or equivalent experience); PharmD, MD, or      PhD highly preferred. Background in surgery, anesthesia, hematology, laboratory      medicine, or medical/surgical devices is essential, with additional      clinical or research experience in hemostasis preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of 2 years      pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, pharmacy practice,      and/or other relevant medical/clinical experience; minimum of 2 years of      Medical Science Liaison experience preferred.</li>
<li>Awareness of      current healthcare and pharmaceutical compliance regulations and      environment is required.</li>
<li>Demonstrated      effectiveness working independently and in groups in a collegial manner,      including cross functional teams and internal/external networking, is      essential.</li>
<li>Exemplary      interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written, and strong      presentation skills are critical.</li>
<li>Strong analytical,      conceptual and administrative, and computer skills (i.e. MS Word, Excel,      Power Point, Outlook) are required.</li>
</ul>
<p>This position may travel overnight 50 - 70% of the time (primarily domestic), and a valid driver’s license is required.</p>
<p>Candidates should live in a location with good access to regional business transportation systems for the southeastern and northeastern United States.</p>
<p>Ability to lift between 20-25 pounds may be required for presentations.</p>

<p>The Medical Affairs Company (TMAC) is recruiting for industry experienced field-based medical professionals to represent our client as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the <strong>West</strong> region. Opportunities are available for candidates possessing prior <strong><em>MSL</em> <em>experience and therapeutic expertise in Dermatology and/or aesthetics medicine. </em></strong>The TMAC MSL team will serve as a field-based resource and provide targeted national, regional, local thought leaders and local managed care accounts with scientific, educational and clinical support services.</p>
<p>Serving as a value-added resource and extension of our Client’s Medical Affairs Department, the MSLs will be engaged with and further develop relationships with critical stakeholders including but not limited to community-based KOLs and researchers specific to the area of dermatology and aesthetics medicine. A primary target for the MSLs will include the existing customers/accounts serviced by the field sales team, specifically providing them educational and technical information in support of their unsolicited drug information inquiries. Additionally, the MSLs will establish relationships with MCO Medical Directors and P&amp;T Committee Members as well as key Association/Society Members. The MSLs will identify and foster relationships with the aforementioned audiences ensuring that these key stakeholders are appropriately and compliantly educated on disease state and dermatologic skin condition information</p>
