Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Institute is a consulting firm founded to advance the role of field-based medical science liaisons in the biopharmaceutical industry.

Medical Science Liaison Institute is widely recognized by the life science industry for consistent thought leadership on medical science liaison programs and current best practices in the medical science liaison profession.

Dr. Jane Chin is Medical Science Liaison Institute's founder and President. Dr. Chin created the web's original MSL information website in 2000 and has been serving as the voice of the MSL community. Dr. Chin has been credited with the grassroots effort in increasing awareness and recognition of field-based medical science liaison professionals.

Dr. Chin's pharmaceutical industry experience began in 1993 and included R&D, sales, and medical affairs. In 2003 and while working as a medical science liaison, Dr. Chin created and launched Medical Science Liaison Quarterly (MSL Quarterly, ISSN 1547-7886), the profession's first newsletter. MSL Quarterly became a knowledge platform for sharing best practices and advancing awareness and recognition of the field-based medical science liaison role. More...
